Steve Ashworth is a CPA with over 20 years of experience helping businesses understand their finances, improve profitability, and minimize taxes—without unnecessary complexity.

Unlike many CPAs who spend their careers solely in public accounting, Steve has worked inside businesses as a Controller and finance leader. That experience shapes everything he does.

He understands:

• How decisions affect cash flow—not just tax returns
   
• How systems, processes, and people impact financial results
   
• How frustrating it is when financial advice isn’t practical
   

Steve holds both a Bachelor’s degree from Purdue and Master’s degree in Accounting from GVSU, is a licensed CPA, and has worked with companies ranging from small owner-led businesses to larger manufacturing and technology organizations—including experience with manufacturing, ERP systems, cost accounting, R&D tax credits, and forecasting.

But what truly sets Steve apart is his approach.

He believes clients deserve:

Outside of work, Steve is a husband, father, and endurance athlete who enjoys biking, running, swimming, and spending time outdoors. That mindset—discipline, preparation, and long-term thinking—carries directly into how he serves clients.
